What we store when you run a scan, and what we never do with it.

What a scan stores

• The URL you submit and its host name.
• The business profile extracted from your site (which you can edit at the checkpoint).
• The generated prompts, the AI models’ answers, and the computed report.
• Your IP address, used only to enforce the daily scan limit.
• Optionally, your email address — only if you type it into the form at the end of a report.

Reports are public-by-link

Every report is visible to anyone who has its link. Links are unguessable (random UUIDs) and reports are marked noindex so search engines don’t list them — but treat the link as semi-public and share it deliberately. Reports name the scanned business and the other businesses AI assistants recommended instead. When you follow a link from a report to another site, that site’s analytics see that you arrived from aivreport.ai — never which report you came from.

Your email stays private

If you leave an email, it is used for exactly two things: one copy of your report and one reminder when your free re-scan opens 7 days later. It is never shown on the report page (other visitors see only that an email was captured), never sold, and never used for a newsletter.

Cookies and analytics

The only cookie we set is an HttpOnly theme preference (light/dark). Analytics run on Plausible, a cookieless, EU-hosted service that collects no personal data; events carry no URLs, business names, or emails. The submission form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set its own cookies under Cloudflare’s policy.

Third parties that process scan data

• OpenRouter (routes prompts to OpenAI, Anthropic and Google models) and Perplexity.
• Resend, for delivering the report copy and reminder emails.
• Plausible, for anonymized usage analytics.
• Cloudflare, for the Turnstile anti-bot check.
